Wells, August Rodin, Henry James, Theodore Roosevelt, W.B. Yeats, Mark Twain, Max Weber, Henry Matisse, and 22 others. A very good plus copy in cloth boards with some toning to the endpapers, the tissue guards have the usual toning and also have a number of tears, some creases, and wear. Lacking the scarce dust jacket. Signed and nicely inscribed by Coburn on the front free endpaper in 1944. Uncommon thus.
