The boards are in outstanding condition, free of any bumping to the corners, or pushing to the spine tips. There is still resistance to the boards when the book is opened. Internally, the pages are extremely clean, with no toning or foxing to the page block or to the inner text. Inscribed by the author to the half title page. No previous owner names or inscriptions inset. The dust wrapper is also in fine or better condition. with no tears or chipping. A very crisp dust wrapper with the publisher's printed price of £8.50net present to the front flap. A custom made clam shell box with raised bands to the spine accompanies this title. A sublime example of an unread title. The best copy we have handled in over twenty years.
