Description: This limited edition of Michael Connelly's LOST LIGHT consists of three hundred numbered copies and one hundred deluxe copies, specially bound, all of which have been signed by the author. This is #134/300. The book is bound in black cloth boards with the cut-out plexiglas window showing nightime Los Angeles and has gold spine titles and a facsimile of the author's signature also stamped in gold on the front cover. It is housed in a flawless black cloth slipcase with a pastedown image of the same nightimne L.A. picture as on the book cover and replicates the book cover's facsimile author signature. (Connelly has signed the book in black fountain ink on the limitation page. At the end of CITY OF BONES Bosch quit the LAPD, but he's back in a new role, one that will give him more freedom to pursue the cases that compel him. When he left the LAPD Bosch took a file with him: the case of a film production assistant murdered four years earlier during a USD 2 million robbery on a movie set. This copy is bound to match the limitation of 100 numbered copies and is quarter-bound in green leather and black cloth. It is signed by the author on the colophon (there were also 300 copies in cloth). Issued with a soundtrack CD inserted in a pocket on the front pastedown. In a slipcase with a tipped on scene of the Los Angeles basin at night. 301 pages. First edition. A near fine copy in a rather scuffed slipcase. This copy was issued to Herb Yellin, the publisher of Lord John Press, a specialist in limited editions, with his name on the colophon page. Presumably, only a handful of copies carry printed limitations.
