Description: Accompanying the book is a check from the account of Edgar Rice Burroughs, attached to a light cardboard backing, SIGNED by Edgar Rice Burroughs. The volume is mildly edge rubbed, lightly, lightly splashed on the rose colored top edges, with shallow bleeding of the rose to the top edges of the frontispiece and title pages. The first three leaves have some gentle rippling. The The unpriced dust jacket, protercted in a sleeve, is chipped on the spine ends (to a depth of 3/16" ), corners (less so), and has a 1" x 3/16" abrasion/chip running from the rear panel to the left side of the spine.

Description: Rare first edition signed by the cover artist, ERB's son John Coleman Burroughs, a few months before his death. Includes a copy of the attached letter describing my 1978 visit to ERB's grandson, Danton Burroughs, in Tarzana and the signing of several books by his father. Book is fine with bright cover wording and five full page illustrations by J. C. Burroughs. Dust jacket, in wrapper, is also fine. At 84, I am disposing of my 50+ year personal ERB collection.
