Harrison, Jim. Legends of the Fall. Delacorte Press/Seymour Lawrence, 1979.

Price: US$950.00 + shipping

Condition: Near Fine

Description: First printing, signed with a wonderful inscription (to no recipient) on the half title page: "O god what a painful book, from ole Jim H." Near fine because of a purple remainder spackle (spray paint) to lower text block face which has gotten on the cloth and on the jacket just a little along their edges. The jacket is near fine for that reason and clipped. Still a handsome copy of this classic with a classic Jim sentiment in the inscription. // Wood (+) River (=) Books specializes in ecology, natural history, nature writing, the environment, and environmental literature, with a special passion for association copies and notable inscriptions.
