Description: Although this press did publish some original Edgar Rice Burroughs first editions, this is a reprint of the 1944 publication. First printing by this press, it is accompanied with a check from the account of Edgar Rice Burroughs, attached to a light cardboard backing, SIGNED by Edgar Rice Burroughs. The volume is lightly bumped on the spine ends and bottom front corner, and the rear pastedown has a triangular area (1"x 3") where the binding glue was not applied. The unclipped dust jacket, protected in a sleeve, has light edge wear and a bit of toning to the spine.
