Description: One of 1000 copies (of 1276). 8vo. Wrappers. 182pp. Dedicated to Cid Corman and William Blake. Poems selected from five book-length manuscripts, plus miscellaneous poems, written between 1963 and 1968. Very Good overall, with some rubbing to wrappers, the spine lightly faded and creased. This copy has been signed by the author in 1977 and inscribed to Allen and Elaine Fisher. Loosely inserted scrap of faint notes (by Allen Fisher, although not stated).

Bottom edge lightly worn from shelf wear. Clear plastic jacket has large chips around the foot of the spine and smaller chips around the bottom corners. Overall, very good condition. INDIANA is made up of poems written 1963-1968.

The poet Clayton Eshleman had a long relationship with reader and collector Richard Levasseur which shows in Eshleman's often elaborate inscriptions to Levasseur and Richard's partner.Signed on the full title page. The inscription is within the boundaries of a rather elaborate drawing of a tree. One of the most unique inscriptions I seen. Fine book with a touch of fading to the spine in wrappers. A beautiful copy!
