Description: First edition. Signed by the author on title page and dedicated to Amy Fane, Nov. 1907, a friend of the author. HB, green cloth with gilt titles and emblem, no dustjacket. Gilt top edge. 237pp, h: 26cm. With 36 colour plates from watercolours by John W.G. Bond; map. Purbeck in Dorset; includes chapters on Swanage, Corfe, Lulworth and Studland. Clean, gilt bright, some small marks and general darkening, rubbed edges with small tears to top spine(1cm) and abrasions to corners. Some foxing to margins and edges, heavy foxing to prelims. Binding is slack at spine with splits, but gatherings & pages are still held. A Good copy.
