A Fine copy in pale caramel brown cloth over vertically patterned paper covered boards, without jacket as issued. 126pp. with an Introduction and concluding Biographical Note by the Author. Tipped in color plate of a painting by the Author. This copy, which is INSCRIBED by Miller "To the Bancroft Library" (which holds his archive), and SIGNED on the half title page. Miller, a native fourth generation San Franciscan, was a successful businessman with ties to the Far East, involved in many civic and cultural activities.
