With the bright gold dagger covering the front boards, and bright gilt lettering along the spine. In a striking pictorial dust jacket with the gleaming and iridescent dagger against a luminous green background on the front panel of the jacket. This is the real thing. Flat-signed by the author, in blue ink, to the title page, and unmarred by a date or dedication. Both book and jacket are in astonishing condition, and look exactly as they did on the day of publication. The pages are dazzlingly white. The gilt lettering and green boards are immaculate. The £12.99 price is intact, and the interior is extremely tight and completely unmarked. This book has literally never been opened (except to check its numberline and condition), let alone read.
