Though nominally one of a hundred numbered signed copies, this is neither numbered nor signed, and lacks the limitation colophon. Endpapers, frontis drawing of Duncan, and another in text, by Mary Fabilli. A Fine, clean copy, the gilt just a bit rubbed. Duncan's First Book, which was limited to 350 copies, the whole edition. Description: The First Edition of Duncan's first Book, this being one of 100 copies bound in green cloth. This is number 64 and is SIGNED by both Duncan and the illustrator Mary Fabilli on the hand written colophon. In addition this copy has a full page holograph poem in Duncan's hand dated 1947, In further addition it is signed again by Duncan at the front after a short gift Inscription to a close friend and future Literary scholar! The poem at the rear is 26 lines in length and dated both 1946 (first part) and 1947. It seems to have a religious theme, but mentions both Christianity and Classical sources. Minor darkening to the end papers as is common. Lightly stained area on the front cover. Otherwise an attractive example with a great association and a full page poem!
