Description: A hefty book giving the history of the Wyoming Stock Growers Association which basically encompasses the history of the state itself. There are illustrated endpapers, a full color frontispiece photograph, nearly 200 black & white photographs throughout, and a comprehensive index at rear. Signed by the author on the half-title. There was a signed, leather-bound limited edition published at the same time, but this is a signed copy of the trade edition. Near fine copy with just a hint of mustiness, in a very good, price-clipped dust jacket faded on spine panel and edge of front panel, and with a couple of short closed tears. A big, heavy book that may attract a small additional shipping fee. JS
