Hand-signed by John Kenneth Galbraith on a loosely laid-in, adhesive-backed bookplate. This title has never been out of print since its initial publication in 1955. Binding and hinges are strong. Pages lay tight. Cloth shows light handling with a couple of small blemishes on rear panel. Endpapers show a trace of toning. This volume comes from the library of Harold Epstein; executive director of the Winston Churchill Foundation for three decades; and former top aide to the legendary Bernard M. Baruch. Epstein's bookplate is affixed to front pastedown. $3.00 price is clipped from DJ flap. DJ shows closed edge tears, shallow chipping at foot and crown, as well as general rubbing.
