Binding on inside cover of book comes apart slightly but is intact. Cover of book shows minimal wear. Book is enclosed in plastic envelope. Story about Corey Bowen and his arrest for cattle rustling while on his job on a cattle drive, and his subsequent time in a convict labor camp.

Description: Nice copy in its first printing. Scarce. His first three hardcover books were all Westerns and have yet to be surpassed. Unmarked, tight and square. Signed neatly by author on bookplate laid in. Reddish brown boards clean with pretty sharp tips and darker brown lettering and illustration on front board of lit dynamite. Crimped spine ends. Price intact jacket is bright and clean with only light wear. Many of Leonards books have been used in film notably Hombre, 3:10 to Yuma, Out of Sight, Jackie Brown, Get Shorty and Valdez is Coming. After his Westerns he turned to crime fiction and was without equal in that field as well. We were lucky to have him. In mylar. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall
