Description: The coveted limited signed edition of East of Eden, limited to 1500 copies signed by Steinbeck, in very good plus condition. Turquoise color is still bright and clean. Noticeable rubbing to spine lettering and a scratch across the front board. Light wear at head and heel of spine and corners. The original red stain to page edges has faded slightly but is still fairly bright except for an area on the bottom edge that has faded to pink. No writing or bookplates. Lacking the original sllipcase. Photos are the best description. These signed limited editions are the real deal- this is unquestionably Steinbeck's real signature. Nice copy of a scarce signed limited edition.

This book is in very good condition. Moderate surface wear to the boards, affecting the spine panel. Top of front board indented. Wear to the edges of the textblock. Minor paper damage on the half title page. Textblock is bright and well preserved. "East of Eden" is the story of two families, the Trask's and the Hamilton's, and their interwoven stories.
