Description: Signed Presentation copy from the poet James Fenton to the writer Justin Wintle, with inscription dated 1969 to the first free endpaper. First Edition. Publisher's blue cloth with the slightly edge-rubbed dust-jacket, spine tanned to brown. A very well preserved copy of the author's second major collection, with a nice literary association; Fenton and Wintle were both at Magdalen College, Oxford, at the same time and formed a close friendship that exists to this day.
