Description: 407 pp, the book is x-library with scotch tape remnants that held the dust jacket on the covers, there is glue remnant on the front free endpaper from the removal of the library book plate, the title page has a partially erased library stamp, there are no other library markings, the AUTHOR SIGNED THE TITLE PAGE, the book is clean and tight, cover corners are lightly worn and spine is vertically creased, the dust jacket is clean with a little scuffing.

A handsome copy of this early Dunning novel, before the Cliff Janeway series started. This copy is in very good condition showing some light age-toning to the text block, some mild sun-fading to the top board edges, light rubbing to the lower edges, and a PO gift inscription to the front free paper. Housed in a clean and bright very good dust jacket that shows some light rubbing and creasing to the spine ends and edges, and a couple of short closed tears to the spine head and top of front flap with a tiny chip out of the corner of the front flap. Overall, a highly collectible and presentable copy from the legendary John Dunning, RIP.
