Original priced ($2.00) dust jacket is very lightly worn with the usual light soil to the fragile back panel else Near Fine. A superior example of this title (WITH :) One page Typed Letter, signed, to Mr. Kenneth White of Popular Publications. New York: unpublished correspondence, October 11, 1945. Single leaf with Hotel Marseilles letterhead, a typewritten letter hand-signed "Cornell," requesting copyright assignments for two of his stories: "Leg Man" and "What The Well Dressed Corpse Will Wear" so that both could appear in THE DANCING DETECTIVE, the latter under the title "Fur Jacket)." Light folds, tiny holes from previous stapling at upper left corner, otherwise Near Fine with superior content related specifically to THE DANCING DETECTIVE. BOTH items formerly in the collection of Otto Penzler.
