Description: First edition. Copy number 3 of 5 [from an edition of 500] of Bukowski's private "Author's Edition," with a typescript signed by Bukowski stapled in at the center. According to Aaron Krumhansl, "As late as the early 1970s Bukowski still retained multiple copies of this title. At some point he created a small private 'Author's Edition' by tipping in or binding in at the center staple either an original signed illustration or a signed typescript poem. Not less than three nor more than five such copies were created." This copy in particular is mentioned by Krumhansl as the Polak copy. 23 pp. Stapled tan wraps. Near Fine, faint waves to wraps. Bukowksi's only self-published chapbook, comprised of "overlooked (or looked-over and shunned)" poems.
