To commemorate the founding of Doubleday, Doran & Company, Incorporated, by the union of Doubleday, Page & Co. and George H. Doran Company this first volume over the new imprint has been autographed by the author and publisher. One in an edition of 500 copies. This copy is signed by Booth Tarkington and the publishers below the commemoration.
