Description: Tall 8vo, xvi, 626 pages, tan cloth Rockwell Kent illustrated the 1930 edition translated by Wm. Van Wyck. This translation re-used the plates from that first edition - with the addition of several new ones. It has 25 full-page plates and many decorations and illustrated endpapers. Introduction by Prof. Gordon Hall Gerould. Inscribed in 1935 by Nicolson to Ija Adler, who ran the rare book dept. at Marshall Field & Co. : "My only regret, in preparing this book, is that I did not dedicate it to you. Yours, J. U. Nicolson".
