From the front inside flap: "Cannibals and Christians engages with literature, politics, architecture, science, and war.Constructed form the same forms Mailer invented for Advertisements for Myself."Black cloth covered boards gilt and white lettering and white graphics on spine. Upper- and lower-most board edges are sunned. Edges at head and tail of board spine are creased. External page edges are age-toned. Text block is internally clean and tight. Dust jacket is scuffed overall including spine and all folds but no rub-throughs. Small stains on back panel. Upper edge of back jacket panel is sunned. Front corner at head of jacket spine has loss of 5/8" by 3/16"; back corner is rubbed. Lower edge at tail of jacket spine several closed vertical tears of 1/4" or less, along with rubs and chips.
