Description: - sc An 18 inch high by 13-1/3 inch wide color print by Harry Furniss depicting a scene from Martin Chuzzlewit. Mounted from the top edge onto 20-1/4 inch high by 14-1/4 inch wide stiff tan poster board. The image depicts the old Mrs. Prigg, head held high in disdain, her back turned to Mrs. Gamp who is rising her chair to address her. A teapot and cups sit on the table between them. Signed in ink by Harry Furniss at bottom left of the image with a guarantee slip printed on blue paper by the Educational Book Company certifying that the print has been signed in ink by Harry Furniss. There is rippling to the edges of the print, none of which affects the near fine image and can easily be matted out.

Very good. - sc An 17-1/2 inch high by 11-1/2 inch wide color print by Harry Furniss depicting a scene from David Copperfield. The image depicts the old wizened Mr. Peggotty holding up and cradling the young woman, Em'ly, whose face is buried in the crook of his arm, apparently crying. A suitcase on the floor is covered by a dress and straw hat. Another dress is draped across the bed, next to the open closet door. Signed in ink by Harry Furniss at bottom right of the image with a guarantee slip printed on blue paper by the Educational Book Company certifying that the print has been signed in ink by Harry Furniss. There is minor wrinkling (probably from humidity) along the top margin and a few tiny spots in the right margin, none of which affects the near fine print and can easily be matted out. Very good.
