Copy 112 of 352 (440) half-bound in grey buckram over paper-covered boards printed with a reproduced enlargement of an engraving detail in blue, paper title-label to the backstrip, in a grey paper-covered slipcase with grey buckram to the top and bottom edges, in the original brown paper wrapping from the press (opened). A long out-of-print book from Whittington, much sought-after amongst enthusiasts of Britten, the Suffolk coast or both. It contains much information about Britten's approach to composition as well as the superbly printed engravings. Fine, with the small discreet blind-embossed stamp of Dr Trevor Weston to the corner of the rear endpaper, in a Fine slipcase.
