This copy signed by the author on the title page. 8vo. 547pp. Black boards lettered in gold at the spine, with black endpapers and a ribbon place marker. Some toning to the leaf margins, as is invariably the case, and with a single tiny crease to the corner of one text leaf. A very good copy in non-price-clipped dust wrapper, a little rubbed and lifting at the spine panel ends and at one or two other extremities. The author's ninth novel.
