Description: Second printing, 1967. Not signed, but from the library of famed novelist and bookman Larry McMurtry, with his bookplate affixed to the front pastedown. Only published in the UK, this collection gathers Snyder's early work:Riprap, Myths & Texts,his Cold Mountaintranslations, andThe Back Country(before it was separately published). With illustrations by Beat artist and Snyder's longtime friend Will Peterson. A very near fine book in a very good, price-clipped jacket with some creasing to top edge (because the jacket is a little bigger than the book) and a chip and short tear at top of spine. A nice association .
