Description: Large quarto, unpaginated, with 100 plates from Weston's photographs. A very good, crisp, clean copy, with gentle foxing to the edges of the page block, in a very near fine price-clipped dust jacket, just a touch rubbed. This copy SIGNED by Weston on the half-title page, and with a bound-in printed card, which reads: "Brett Weston autographed this book especially for HISK Carmel, California November 1986." There was a signed limited edition; the trade edition is scarcer signed.

A very good copy with some pale spotting to cloth and light wear to slipcase, internally very fresh and fine. SCARCE DELUXE ISSUE OF THE FIRST EDITION, number 125 of 300 copies signed by Weston (the trade edition was of 5000 copies; there were also 5 artist proofs). This copy is lacking the original photograph originally issued with this limited issue.
