Description: 1964. First Edition. 234 pages. Signed by the author. Orange dust jacket over grey cloth. Flat signed by the author to title page. Black and white photographic plates. Minor tanning to otherwise quite clear pages and plates. More prominent to text block edges, lighter to pastedowns and free endpapers (with some light foxing visible too). Binding remains firm. Boards have minor corner bumping and edgewear with mild sunning and scuffing overall. Spine has slightly more pronounced sunning with soft crushing to ends. Book has a slight forward lean. Minor scuffing marks to rear board with small sun marks to all surfaces. Gilt lettering is bright and clear. Unclipped dust jacket, priced 30s net. Panels have very slight edge wear with minor creasing. Subtle sunning to spine.

This is a mass of misprints & mistakes which I was ashamed to send before. Please treat it as a Christmas card & don't trouble to acknowledge. 1964". The recipients were the Laycocks, long time friends of the author whom he had met through during the war whilst serving with Colonel Robert Laycock. Octavo. Original grey cloth, spine lettered in silver. Housed in a blue cloth folding box. Binding sunned, contents clean, a very good copy.
