Signed to the limitation page by the author. Note we do not use stock images, the book pictured is the book described. This volume is one of the International Signed Limited Editions, with a numbered limitation page, this copy being 028/300. When A Feast For Crows was released, Voyager issued a slipcased Signed Limited Edition for sale exclusively through Amazon UK, which was limited to 1000 copies, with a signed limitation page, and is commonly available. They also ordered from the printers 300 identical slipcased copies without a limitation page for their international distribution network, to be known as the International Signed Edition. Due to an error at the printers these Signed editions also had a limitation page bound in, stating 300 copies. When the error was discovered Voyager embargoed the title, with the intention of removing the limitation reference. Presumably they took this action as Amazon had distribution rights for the limited edition. However, some copies had already been sent to distributors, and it is known copies with the limitation page intact were sold by Australian retailers. It is not known exactly how many of the three hundred copies actually reached the bookshops, as Voyager had copies that were still warehoused and embargoed all the copies still with their international distributors. The two previously documented copies that we have researched were both in Australia, and the highest limitation number that we have found is 102. It is therefore possible that perhaps 150 went to Australia, the undistributed balance being intended for other English speaking markets such as Canada and South Africa. These circumstances ensure that this particular edition is very scarce, and one that few Games of Thrones collectors have had opportunity to obtain. A rare volume.
