Description: This 1932 publication of The Cod Head is one of a limited edition of 125 and is signed by the publisher of Contempo, Milton A. Abernathy and the poet, William Carlos Williams. William Carlos Williams (1883-1963) was an American poet, writer, and physician. He is associated with modernist and imagist poetry and was the chief of pediatrics at Passaic General Hospital from 1924 until his death in 1963. Green paper wraps with deckled fore-edges, printed title label on front wrap, 4 pages. Published by Harvest Press in San Francisco  "for the friends of Contempo" (1932). 10" x 6 3/8". Condition: Very good condition.
