"Hermann Zapf has a designed a new civilité typeface following Granjon's general lineaments, but its twisting and turning permutations are redolent of Zapf's genius." 175 copies printed at the Gehenna Press during the summer of 1995. Type cast by Harold Berlinner. Composition of the type forms hand set and printed letterpress in multiple colors by Art Larson. Bound by Claudia Cohen. This is copy number 143 of the standard edition (25 deluxe copies were issued with an additional print). SIGNED by Baskin, the fomrer of all the designs within the book. Book measures 9" x 12". A Fine copy in Near Fine slipcase. Laid in is a sample sheet which functioned at the prospectus for the publication. A scarce volume.
