Dustjacket shows a couple large (1"-2") chips along edges and at head of spine along with a couple small clean tears, but is otherwise crisp and intact with nice color to face. Light edgewear to boards with a bit of a cock to spine. Previous owner's name on front pastedown, dated 1939. Shallow damp bleed from topstain affecting 50 or so pages in the middle, but not involving text. Book opens easily to between gatherings but binding is sound. Pages are unmarked. Not an ex-library copy. One of Woolrich's Jazz Age novels preceding his turn to the mystery/detective genre. [AB-301]
