Description: Original hardcover, no jacket, 1st edition - large section of b + w plates by Adams at end of book. Excellent collaboration and publication. Condition: book is good plus condition to very good minus, considering the age, with some soiling and fading to the covers; few scratches and scuffs. There is age-toning to the pages, previous owner name on endpaper. Light wear otherwise. Very nice.

Top corner of back jacket flap is creased. Bottom corner of front cover is frayed. Spine is bumped, but binding is secure. Sticker from previous owner on inside back cover. Pages are lightly tanned, but otherwise clean and unmarked. As is.

Description: Small quarto, 132pp., illustrated. A crisp, clean copy, near fine, in the publisher's beige cloth, with a small smudge to the fore-edge and a small nick to the cloth at the top of the rear board. In a very good dust jacket with some short tears and creases, most notably at the spine ends, some of which were repaired with tape on the verso. Spine panel entirely unfaded. This copy SIGNED by Adams on the half-title page: "Ansel Adams Yosemite 12-15-79." This title is much scarcer signed than some of Adams' late-career books on the same subject.
