Minor wear marking to boards, but internally bright, tight and fresh, the plates all present and in very good clean condition. One page in vol II a little roughly cut. A little weakness to internal gutters. Bound in cloth, two colours cream/grey, gilt vignette and black title on front board with black vignette and gilt title to spine. A small ringstain on the front cover of Vol II. Overall in very good condition of one of the classic illustrated printings of this work A heavy item requiring extra postage.
