Description: Tan paper covers have illustration and titles in black. Boards show some scuffing, toning at edges, bumping, edgewear. Corners are worn, frayed with exposed board. See photos. Spine has black text and is darkened, with crushed ends. Binding is secure, with the exception of a loose folio at pages 167-169. See photos. Illustrated end papers/ pastedowns show little sign of wear. Front fep has gift inscription, owner's name, bookseller's mark. Illustrations are bright and clear. Interior on buff paper exhibits some marginal toning. Inside pages are free of writing and intentional marks. Illustrated with the author's drawings, reproduced as engravings made under the supervision of William G.
