Spine has black text and is darkened, with crushed ends. Binding is secure, with the exception of a loose folio at pages 167-169. See photos. Illustrated end papers/ pastedowns show little sign of wear. Front fep has gift inscription, owner's name, bookseller's mark. Illustrations are bright and clear. Interior on buff paper exhibits some marginal toning. Inside pages are free of writing and intentional marks.
