Bound in blue cloth with title stamped in gilt, top edge gilt. Slight ripple to cloth on front board, minor foxing to endpapers, bookplate on verso of front free endpaper; all else about fine. Only partial dust jacket presen: lacks spine panel and is edgeworn and lightly spotted. With the original blue cardboard slipcase, which is heavily rubbed. From the dust jacket: "This book is a description and appreciation of those most exciting and mysterious birds - Wildfowl. It is full of interesting anecdotes and not without humour.
