Description: 1876. PLEASE NOTE: REBOUND IN BROWN HARDCOVER LIBRARY BINDING. Library stamps inside the front and back cover and on the fore edge. Shelving letters and numbers taped to the spine. Inside the front and back cover, there is a wide band of browning glue where it appears mylar was attached but is no longer present. In the rebinding process, the first several chapters were shifted a bit to the right so the right-hand margin is smaller than the left-hand margin. A very functional, readable copy but one with quirks and character. Booksavers receives donated books and recycles them in a variety of ways. Text block edges somewhat dulled/darkened by age, interior clean, binding firm, pages crisp and unfoxed. Slight off-seting/foxing apparent at frontis. only, tissue guard fully intact. 605 pp., illus.
