Black boards in very good condition, with gilt on spine still bright, and a bit of scuffing to rear board. Page edges lighlty soiled. Internally clean, free of previous owners marks or signatures. The Lee Brown Coye dust jacket is lightly rubbed, soiled and shelfworn with a vertical crease to middle of the spine strip. It is not price clipped.

Dust jacket good in Mylar; lightly foxed to back and rear inner flap, and with heavy scuffing to back; small closed tears in bottom margin of back panel at hinge and center, with attendant crease, and tape reinforcement behind the two tears. DJ cover price $4.00 at front inner flap. Bookplate at FFEP. Light spotting to first few pages. Interior else clean, text bright and unmarked. With cover art by Lee Brown Coye.

The jacket a smooth 1/8'' x 3/4'' chip out of the upper right corner edge of the front of the jacket into the inside panel, a few slight rubs to the fornt of the jacketand top of the spineback corner, a 1 1/3'' closed tear at the top of the rear wrap around with associated diagonal creasing and rubbing around the perimeter of the rear panel. The red of the jacket looks unfaded. Looks much better than it may sound. All jackets in mylar wraps. DG

Otherwise, this is a solid, tight, clean Very Good+ copy in an unclipped, Very Good dust jacket, which has moderate bumps with some creasing to the spine ends and corners, mild sunning with very faint soiling to the spine, light rubbing with areas of smudging to the covers, a touch of edge wear, and mild creasing to the flap corners. The jacket is wrapped in Mylar, and additional images are available upon request.
