Description: 8vo. 244 pages. Hardcover bound in black cloth. Corners are bumped and rubbed. Headcap/foot of spine are worn and frayed. Small cracks evident near foot of spine. Inner front and rear hinges are secure. Text is toned. Newspaper clippings have been placed between pages 212 and 213. As a result, pages 210-215 are toned, with pages 212-213 being the darkest. Rear flyleaf and inner cover show slight foxing. Top edge of book is dusty.

Central cloth clean and sharp with bright front stamping; spine stamping dulled but clearly legible; touches of rubbing with surface loss mid spine and rear. BInsding strong and square but stiff, opens flat with very mild separation pp.108-109; hinge-tape reinforcements to front and rear gutters and p.220 (not into text). Pages clean and unmarked but stiff.
