Description: Original hardcover, no jacket, of limited edition of 1035 copies, SIGNED by Oliver La Farge, Pulitzer prize winning author. This was his personal copy. Contains 60 plates, rough cut page edges. Condition: book is solid and square, but back board has water damage (see photos) from many years ago. No odors, just stains and wear. Otherwise, boards have light rubbing, fading, wear to corners. Age-toning to the pages, some modest wear from age. Collectible copy.

This comes with the original publisher's prospectus, which is a 9 x 11" folded sheet with 3 plates and text inside. The prospectus has been folded in 3 and kept inside the front cover. Condition os BOOK is FINE ; absolutely spotless with no wear. Binding tight and text and plates also spotless. The original paper wrapper is VERY GOOD+ ; very clean, spine a bit toned, edges have a few chips. The slipcase is FAIR ; rear is partly detached with a couple of old tape repairs, edges worn with partial splits, front print good with some toning. Naut. RGR.
