Description: Limited to 380 copies printed on Dacian paper. About Good. Orange paper on the boards, generally rubbed, split along the top two inches of the front and back gutter. Square, hinges a bit loose but the binding is generally tight, toned at the endpapers, rubbed in a spot at the rear, clean otherwise. A pocket-sized collection of Williams's poetry intdended to be carried by US servicemen during World War II, a collection edited with the help of Louis Zukofsky and a predecessor of Paterson.

Text is clean and free of marks. Binding tight and solid. This collection, published during the war, includes many of Williams's most effective and famous poems, including "A Sort of a Song," "The Dance," "the World Narrowed to a Point," "A Flowing River," etc. E-156; 12mo 7" - 7½" tall
