A circulating library stamp ("Circulating Library Brown, Thomson & Co SOLD") on the rear paste down, but the book does not show any signs of reading or wear. There is a synopsis & review of the book glued to the FFEP that appears to be contemporaneous to the publication but is not from the DJ. A very good or better copy.

Description: An amazing find in this condition. There are a few small spots on rear cover and a slight amount of wear to corner tips and spine ends. Front page block edge has a couple small stains and a small ding. Lightly penciled name and 1928 date on front end flap. Interior approaches near fine with a slight toning to pages and that aforementioned ding caused slight damage to the outermost edges of about 20 pages. This book is beautiful. Jacket is poor account of multiple edge tears and a large open tear on front of jacket. See photos for further details, description.
