DJ has $1.50 publisher's price, The Tenggren Story Book is the last Giant Golden Book title, Walt Disney's Circus is last Big Golden Book title, and The Taxi That Hurried is the last Little Golden Book title. The front panel of the DJ and the front board have an illustration that alternates vines and small pictures, arranged in a wreath. The top, front corners of the boards have water stain and the tips are bare of paper. The corners of the spine strip are rubbed. The back board has a linear 7/8 in. scraped spot. The pastedowns have color illustrations of the 4 seasons. The top corners of the endpapers have water stain. The front pastedown has an owner's name with a 1946 date. The top end of the front endpaper has a blue line that has run from the top end of the text block. A 1/4 in. water stain is on the top corners of pages that have yellow or white margins. DJ: The top ends of the folds and adjacent corners have water stain; ends of folds are chipped, rubbed, and most also have a short tear; a few other, small rubbed spots; a crease line is across the top end of the back panel; light shelf wear soiling; the reverse side has darkened.
