Attractive later printing of the 1944 reissue with different illustrations -- this copy bearing a modern extra-illustration in the form of a unique added frontispiece: Printed reproduction on period paper of an artist's rendering of the smiling Oz coroner holding up a "Certificate of Death" scroll as he stands in front of Dorothy's crashed home with the Wicked Witch of the East's legs protruding from underneath; at upper left of this a fine 4" X 2½" card is affixed bearing Meinhardt Raabe's signature in bold blue ballpoint at center, beneath which he pens "Munchkin Coroner '39" and dates it 2 February 1990 at upper right.
