All 3 volumes in full burgundy calf, expertly rebacked in matching leather, with 9 of the storied illustrator Gustave Dore's steel engravings per book, 18 in Vivien. Guinevere, and 9 each in Elaine and Enid. Modest corner and shelfwear, slight dust-dulling and wear to the gilt, some staining, smudging and inscriptions and former owner's bookplates on the endpapers, but the texts are markedly clean, with very mild browning, and overall very tight, bright, and solid. A handsome set of a magnificent edition, beautifully restored and preserved. This large, heavy set will require substantial additional shipping.
