In a letter to Galsworthy, Ford wrote :I have just finished reading the Villa Rubein, with a great deal of pleasure and with my interest sustained to the last page--to the last word, even, and that is the great thing, it seems to me. I don't write as a critic, which I am not, but as a fellow craftsman." Covers slightly soiled as usual, else a very good copy in custom cloth slipcase, cloth dust jacket with morocco spine label.
