Although the colophon states "signed by the author, the artist and the publishers," this copy is signed only by Howells and the publishers. Bound in cloth-backed blue boards with leather spine labels, another departure from other copies, which are bound in patterned paste-paper boards. Small bump to one edge, and owner's name whited-out to ffeps, otherwise an immaculate copy, with the pages unopened. Clear plastic jackets.
