Description: First edition, first impression of the third Inspector Dalgleish mystery in a very attractive dustwrapper. Very Good: firm and square binding in sharp and very clean red boards, lettered brightly in silver; tanning and foxing to the edge of the page block; an ownership signature (dated 1968) and a small name obscured by correction fluid to the ffep; some offsetting to the endpapers and a number of tape residue marks bleeding though in each case to the adjacent page; else internally a crisp and largely clean copy. The unclipped dustwrapper (21s net stated) is Near Fine: bright, crisp and unfaded with vibrant colouring; a little minor rubbing to the spine tips and corners; adhesive mark to the front flap; presented in a removable, archival-quality Brodart protective cover. All orders are sent very carefully wrapped in bubble wrap and sturdy cardboard.
