Condition: Good

Description: Hardcover. The book is in GOOD condition, without dust jacket. The book shows wear but is still in collector's condition. This is the TRUE First Edition, "First edition" is stated along with the necessary code, "F-A". This is one of my favorite Zane Grey books. Lucy Watson, a young schoolteacher, is appointed welfare instructor in a community of isolated backwoods folk. She quickly overcomes their fears, and achieves popularity by the practical results of her work. She is especially successful with a strong, uncouth bee-hunter. Zane Grey's handling of these primitive characters is robust and understanding. Zane Grey is an enormously gifted artist who draws scenes of the southwest in unforgettable stories. His was one of the best.
