Description: Tall octavo. 56pp. Stapled gold wrappers. Dated on front wrap in ink one day before the offical premiere, bookstore stamp and faint rubberstamp on rear wrap, slight rubbing, near fine. Originally produced as a BBC radio play, this program is for the premiere of the first American full stage production of the play, which Thomas adapted from the radio version, but which went unproduced until four years after his death. The play opened at the Henry Miller Theatre on October 15, 1957.
